Picture Framing

A quality frame can add tremendous visual appeal to piece of art.  In some cases, it is the frame that ‘makes’ the artwork!

There is a lot to consider when thinking about framing your artwork.

Frame1

The frame should be chosen to suit the piece of art.  The age, size, style, and value of the artwork should be considered when choosing an appropriate frame.  The colour of the wall on which the art is to be displayed should be taken into account, and whether the artwork is to be displayed against a heavily patterned wall.

For artwork of significant value, both financial and sentimental, the framing should offer protection to the artwork.

Glass that offers UV protection can protect the colours in the artwork from the sun.  For artwork that is to hang in a children’s room, plastic glass is recommended for safety purposes.

We will be happy to discuss your requirements for your artwork, and to offer advice on framing and hanging your art.  We have many samples on site.
